Generating a Report

Turn a finished observation into an AI-drafted report you can shape and finalize.

Once your observation is complete, Elevate can draft a report for you in a few moments. You then refine it into the finished evaluation.

Generating the draft

From your completed observation, choose Generate Report. Elevate reviews the transcript along with your notes and quick tags, and drafts evidence-based suggestions for you.

Two things happen as part of this:

  1. Student names are scrubbed with AI. Before the report is created, Elevate uses AI to detect and replace student names in the transcript and notes. Review the final report text for any remaining names before finalizing it. See Student name scrubbing explained.
  2. Suggestions are drafted. Using Google's Gemini AI, Elevate proposes strengths, areas for growth, and recommendations grounded in what actually happened in the lesson.

You're always in control

The draft is a starting point, not a final word. Nothing is finished until you say so — you accept, edit, or dismiss each suggestion in the Report Builder.

Note: A report draws on your transcript and your notes. The more you captured during the observation, the richer the draft — see Taking notes and quick tags.

Note: Student names should not be part of Report Builder edits. Edits you make after report generation are not scrubbed again.
